- 1 natural yogurt
- 1 clove garlic
- The juice of half a lemon
- extra virgin olive oil
- 6 leaves of fresh mint
Preparing the recipe for yogurt sauce
Put the yogurt in a bowl. Peel and mince garlic clove and add it. Add also lemon juice, salt, pepper and olive oil.
Mix everything well while you have a homogeneous sauce.
Cut the fresh mint leaves with a knife and add them to the yoghurt sauce. Mix everything until the mint is well incorporated.
You can serve this sauce to accompany various dishes, such as salads, kebabs, falafel, vegetables … Yogurt sauce will add a refreshing touch to any recipe.
If you want to give different touch to the sauce, we suggest you add a little coriander.
Make a light sauce
Although it is a very healthy sauce, you can make it lighter if you use it skim yogurt with low fat content.
