Carlos Arguiñano prepares the recipe Veal cheeks with potatoes worse in his TV program 55000 Recipes, just delicious!
Ingredients (4 people):
- 2 veal cheeks
- 3 potatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 2 onions
- 2 carrots
- 1 spring onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 250 ml of red wine
- extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of the recipe Veal cheeks with potatoes for the poor:
Hit garlic (with skin) crushes them a little and stew in the fast oven by spraying oil. Peel and slice onions and carrots and add them. Season and stew everything well for about 15 minutes.
Remove external grease from cheek pads as well as the nets that cover them. Salt and pepper, flour them and brown them in a frying pan with a trickle of oil.
Add the cheek pads to vegetables, pour the wine, 350 ml of water and a little pepper. Season, cover and cook the meat for 40 minutes. Remove the cheeks and keep them on a plate.
Switch porridge sauce and put it in a lunch box. Cut the cheeks into fillets and add them. Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley.
Peel potatoes cut in half moons and put them to fry in a pan with a lot of oil. Peel and slice chives in fine julienne and add it. Remove stem and seeds of bell, cut into large cubes and turn on. Fry everything well and drain them on a plate. Salt them and pepper them.
Distribute cheek pads and potatoes on four plates. Garnish with a little parsley leaves.
Veal cheeks are not very expensive, they have only one problem, they are not easy to obtain, so you must order them in advance from your butcher.
