In his TV program 55000 Recipes, chef Carlos Arginiano prepares the recipe for chard cream with crispy potatoes, a healthy and tasty dish!

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 8-10 chard leaves (700 g)
  • 4 sheets of brick paste
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 25 g of rice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 zucchini
  • extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of the recipe Chard cream with potato chips:

Wash chard, Remove threads on the handles and chop them to your liking. Chop the leaves as well. Put them on stew in a saucepan by spraying. Peel carrots, cut them in half moons and turn them on. Season and stew all a little.

Add rice, cover with plenty of water, salt and pepper and close the pot. Cook everything for 4-5 minutes from the moment you turn the valve up. Open the pot.

It peels off 2 cloves garlic, laminate and re-glue them in a pan with 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Pour the sauce over the chard. Grind well.

Wash potatoes, put them on a plate, cover them with kitchen foil and cook them in microwave for 8 minutes. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice reduced to puree. Add salt and pepper, add a little chopped parsley and pour a trickle of oil. Mix well.

Cut the leaves into brick paste in 12 wide strips (8 cm), spread them on a smooth surface and fill them with mashed potatoes. Close them over the formation of potatoes triangles and fry them in a pan with oil. Drain them in a plate covered with absorbent paper.

Wash zucchini, cut it into quarter moon and stew them in a pan by spraying oil.

Spread the cream 4 plates, put one portion of zucchini in the center of the plates and accompany them with potato triangles.

Tip:

Today we made chard cream, but remember that there are as many variants of creams as people’s tastes. Use the vegetables you like the most or the ones you have at home.
