Recipe for Cream of carrots with croutons

Carlos Arguiñano’s recipe for carrot cream with croutons. Very healthy and tasty dish.


  • 1 kg. carrots
  • 4 potatoes
  • Water
  • 1/2 cup liquid cream
  • Sol
  • Pepper
  • Fried bread croutons
  • Olive oil


Wash and cut carrots in pieces, do the same with potatoes, but breaking it once peeled.

We put cook everything covering it with water. Add salt and a little black pepper. We leave to cook 30 minutes.

When carrots and potatoes are tender, we grind and go through Chinese or strainer.

We finish the cream add a splash of liquid cream. Place to the point of salt and accompany with the fried croutons.
