Ingredients (6 people):

  • 300 g. Boiled ham
  • 150 g Smoked bacon
  • 100 g raisins (without seeds)
  • 125 g. Green olives stuffed with black pepper
  • 600 g of flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 125 ml of milk
  • 125 water
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • parsley

Preparation of the recipe for bread with ham:

Put it down raisins in a bowl, cover with water and let them soak while hydrating. Drain, dry and set aside.

Put the warm water in a bowl, add the sugar and yeast and mix well with a stick. Add 1/2 kg of flour, salt, butter (to cream), egg and milk. Beat everything with a wire whisk until you get a pliable and manageable dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it stand for 30-35 minutes.

Sprinkle the hob with some of the remaining flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. Give it a rectangular shape and approximately 1/2 cm thick. Place the stretched slices of ham and slices of bacon on top. Distribution soaked raisins and olives cut into slices. I’m winding up and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Paint with egg shake and bake it at 180 ° C for 1 hour and a half. Serve and garnish with a sprig of parsley.

Tip:

If you notice that it darkens too quickly, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil.
