Peas with ham and poached egg, a healthy and easy to cook recipe
We haven’t prepared one of the recipes that the whole family likes the most for a long time, Peas with ham and egg.
For the preparation of this recipe peas with ham, ideally the peas are fresh, but since the season is so short and has such a high price, it is best to use green peas ultra frozen or in the latter case preserved.

Time to prepare
First, we start making poached or poached eggs, one per person.
To prepare the poached eggs, we cook in a saucepan with plenty of water.
Cut four pieces of plastic wrap, helping us with a cup or bowl, put one in the selected utensils, add a few drops of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Carefully crack an egg and pour it into the cup.
Prepare a sachet with nylon foil, trying not to leave air inside, roll and tie with one end of the nylon foil.
Put the four sachets in a pot of boiling water and cook for four or five minutes.
We take it out and let it harden.
While the “boiled eggs” are cooking, we can prepare the recipe for peas with ham.
We poach onions so finely chopped in a pan or casserole with olive oil that in the end it is almost noticeable on the plate.
Add the diced ham and add the frozen peas, pre-chilled with water, to the pan.
Cover the pan or casserole with a lid and let it cook for five minutes.
Taste the salty dot and serve on plates.
Carefully remove the plastic wrap from the eggs and place one on each plate.
