Orange flank with homemade caramel
The recipe of the day in Family kitchen with Javier Romero is tasty homemade dessert. In front of you is the opportunity to try and taste delicious orange flank with homemade caramel, which by the way is also done with Orange juice instead of water.
Homemade flan is a preparation that requires very few ingredients and almost no effort. You can even put purchased candies instead of home-made ones, although, of course, this is not the same. In this case, we will need eggs, sugar and milk as the main ingredients of any ordinary bottle, and to give it an orange flavor, we will logically use juice. Then some time in the oven and that’s it. Generally speaking, this is the description of the preparation of flan. Now, below, I will tell you in more detail both in the video and in the step-by-step written explanation how to easily prepare this rich orange flan with homemade caramel.
Ingredients for 8 people
First we will make the orange caramel by placing the aforementioned 60 ml of orange juice and 6 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan. Stir until we see that the sugar dissolves in the juice and this happens, we just have to wait for it to toast while we continue to stir.
When we are done, we will pour the candy into the form and move it to spread it all over the bottom and part of the wall.
In the time it takes for the caramel to become a crystal, we will put the 6 eggs in a bowl with the sugar and beat them by hand until they make an emulsion. Then we will put the milk and in which we have mixed it, we will pour the juice.
When everything is well broken, we will carefully pour all the liquid into the mold and turn on the oven at 160 ° C with heating up and down WITHOUT a fan.
When it reaches the specified temperature, we place the form and bake the flange for about 65 minutes.
After this time we will prick the flange with a needle and if it comes out clean, we can take it out permanently and wait for it to cool.
As soon as it cools, we disassemble it on a plate and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours, so that it is finished with the necessary consistency before eating it.
And that’s it, friends, we’re done orange flank with homemade caramel. I hope it’s a dessert that you use regularly when you want to, because you won’t regret it at all. You will make everyone very happy at home, I assure you. I say goodbye now, see you in the next recipe, which I will post here, elsewhere, in Family Kitchen.
