A festival in which all artistic events will have a place through which young creativity will express itself.
Following the success of the first two editions, for the third year in a row the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ) will celebrate III International Festival of Young Creativity.
A festival in which all artistic events through which young creativity will be expressed will take place. Cinema, literature, the visual arts, music, theater, comics, music, cuisine and digital culture will be the main axes on which its extensive programming is based.
As it could not be less and given the great support it had in the two previous editions, gastronomy will again be one of the pillars of Eutopia08.
The International Festival of Young Creativity He will include in his programming the cycle What Eutopia Knows, with which he wants to justify Cordoba as an Andalusian focus of culinary innovation.
This cycle will take place from 25 to 27 September at Casa Adarve, the headquarters of the IAJ, and in it we will be able to see how all the disciplines of the festival are mixed with gastronomy and cuisine prepared “in situ”.
“What does Eutopia taste like?” It will begin on Thursday, September 25, with a unique experience in the dialogue between the kitchen and other creative disciplines. In this experience we will be able to see a demonstration of live cooking, accompanied by a musical performance, reading poetry and realization of a painting, a new experience that will end with a tasting, this time of the developed dishes.
The next day there will be a round table on the connection between gastronomy and art, which will be attended by some of the most prominent restaurateurs in Cordoba. This event will end with the preparation of cocktails by José Glacé Copas, which will then be tasted by the audience.
The last day of the cycle “What does Eutopía08 know?”, Saturday 27, will be dedicated to the “new” Cordoba cuisine, presented by four restaurants in the city, which will make a live demonstration and then give you a taste.
Undoubtedly, this will be a somewhat magical conference, as all the arts presented in Eutopía08 will rotate and develop to “harmonize” with the kitchen.
During these three days, the organization planned, with the help of young chefs, to create a variety of dishes directly inspired by the artists included in the festival program. In this way, they hope to “get a taste” of a song by Andres Calamaro, a poem by Luis Garcia Montero, and even want to know how Eva Amaral’s voice from the band “Amaral” in Zaragoza “tastes”.
Three intense days that will have the final touch of the edition of a book of recipes for everything prepared in Eutopia08.
