On the occasion of everything we experience with COVID19, the organization of III International cooking competition with Iberico 2020 extend the registration period until June 26. That way, all those people who haven’t done it yet and are interested in participating in this new edition have a few more days to do so.
To participate in the III International Cooking Competition with Ibérico, you must be of legal age and be a professional chef or hospitality student. Those interested must send by e-mail to email@example.com the recipe with which they wish to participate in the competition.
Ingredients, quantities and detailed step-by-step preparation, as well as a photo of the final coating of the same, indicating the name of the recipe, as well as the full name and details of the contestant.
All proposals received by the organization within the specified period and with the requirements required in bases, will be evaluated and qualified by a professional jury, which will select the ten semi-finalist dishes, based on their originality, creativity, presentation and preparation.
The organization will contact the selected chefs to inform them of their status as semi-finalists, which will allow them to take part in the first phase of the competition, which will take place in Salamanca, at La Casa de la Tierra (Chamber of Commerce), from 15 July (the specific date will be announced earlier).
The ten semi-finalists will have to develop the recipe presented during the semi-final and after the evaluation of the jury the 4 finalists will be known who will be able to improve the recipe for their participation in the final, which will be held during the III International Iberian Forum, which will take place in 2021. A professional jury will determine the final winner, who will have a prize of € 5,000, and the runner-up will receive a check for € 2,000.
