How to make flan cheese

After 6 years it’s your turn repair with home-made cheese. A dessert that everyone already knows, but which had such low quality content that I was a little ashamed to have one of my first and most beloved recipes.

The Cheese is a dessert that usually everyone likes it. E very easy to prepare, contains very few ingredients and all they are very basic. I know I’m saying this for many recipes, but it’s true. You can put this cheese on any occasion. If you have birthday, a Family food, a day when you want to surprise your people with a delicious dessert. Everyone wants to be healthy and weak, but we quickly forget when they put a good dessert in front of us. A home flan like this cheese is no exception.

1 – Prepare the homemade caramel

We will start by making the liquid caramel by putting 6 tablespoons of sugar and a stream of water in a saucepan. We will stir a little to dissolve the sugar in the water and little by little you will see how the mixture starts to bubble and change color to a toasted tone.

2 – Pour the caramel into the form and spread it

We must take into account that the darker the color, the bitter the caramel. I like it slightly toasted, so shortly after it starts toasting, I remove it from the heat. We will then pour it directly into the mold and move it to spread the caramel all over the bottom and part of the country.

3 – Beat the eggs with the sugar

While the caramel crystallizes, we will put the eggs and sugar in a bowl. We will beat them until they mix perfectly.

4 – Add the cheese, milk and cream

Then we will add the cheese and beat it to integrate it. Then we will do the same with the cream and milk.

5 – Pour the mixture into the form and prepare baini-mari

Once we achieve a homogeneous mixture, we will pour it little by little in the form almost to the edge. We will then place it in a larger source with enough water to cover the mold more or less in half. This way we will make bain-marie.

6 – Bake the cheese

We will turn on the oven at 180ºC with heating up and down WITHOUT a fan. When it is hot, we will place the flange and bake it for approximately 75 minutes. The time always depends on each oven and the thickness of the flange.

7 – Check that the flange is ready and remove it from the oven

After this time we will check if the flange is finished by stabbing it with a metal skewer. If it comes out clean, we can take the flange out of the oven and wait for it to cool.

8 – Wait for it to cool and disconnect

When it is completely cold, we will continue to disassemble it and eat it. In case we do not eat it as soon as we pour it, we will put it in the refrigerator.
