Joseba Arguiñano makes a very simple Italian aperitif: bread sticks or bread sticks, a perfect accompaniment to any dish and which we can prepare to our liking.
Ingredients (4 people):
- thin slices of Serrano ham
- sunflower seeds
- corn flour

- 85 g of wheat semolina

- 8g malt flour
- 11 g lard
- 17 g of olive oil
- 5 g of salt
- 125 g of water
Preparation of the recipe Grisini or Italian bread sticks by Joseba Arguiñano:
Place in a Bowl on flour, semolina, yeast, malt and water. Mix and months on hand. Add the butter (little by little) and continue to knead. Add oil and salt and continue to knead for 15 minutes. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with clean cloth and let it ferment until it doubles in volume.
Divide Dough of 3 parts, stretch each piece with roller until you get 3 rectangular plates. Cut each strip iron 1 cm wide.
To make different flavors:
one-. Sprinkle iron with corn flour, separate the strips and place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
two-. Sprinkle the other plate with sunflower seeds, press them slightly and separate the strips. Put them next to bread sticks sprinkled with corn flour.
3-. Sprinkle the last plate with sesame and press them a little. Separate the strips and turn both ends in the opposite direction while twisting in a spiral (type of spirals of pasta). Place them next to the others.
Bake them (preheated oven) at 200 ° C for 8-10 minutes. Take them out of the oven.
You can fuck thin slices of ham around those dusted with bread sticks corn flour. Serve.
You can sprinkle the bread sticks with other types of seeds or with aromatic herbs or spices. At your choice.
