The first Castilla y León wine tourism fair will take place at the Railway Museum on 21 and 22 May and will include a number of activities. The receptive Welcome Castilla y León, co-organizer of the event, will present an attractive program of wine tourism at the fair itself and exclusive experience plans.
The resources for wine tourism in Castile and Leon are innumerable and sometimes even unknown. To publish all the details and activities that develop two of the most active wine routes in the region, such as Cigales and Rueda Wine Routes, this weekend (May 21 and 22) will be held at the Railway Museum in Madrid I welcome the Castilla y León Wine Tourism Fair.
An extensive program has been prepared for this first edition, full of activities organized for all types of audiences. Through more than twenty themed stands I welcome the Castilla y León Wine Tourism Fair will present to the visitor a tour of the Cigales and Rueda wine roads, by presenting its heritage, historical offer, its wineries and wine tourism, gastronomy, accommodation, recreation and nature and, of course, its wines.
An important part of this program will be the tastings and guided wine tastings from the various participating wineries and companies. In this way, attendees will be able to enjoy both routes as far as they are able, as well as learn how to make artisanal bread, discover local honey through tastings with a guide and the peculiarities of the life of bees in the area.
Similarly, the winery space will have a common tasting area where attendees can enjoy a tasting of various DO Cigales and DO Rueda wines, whether white, rosé, red, sparkling and freezing. This tasting can be done after purchasing tickets, which in addition to wine consumption also includes cork tasting.
