To make this plum and apple jam, we used Claudia plums and a golden apple. A combination that resulted in a delicious jam, perfect for use at any time.

Instructions

  1. We wash, dry and debone the plums. We reserve in a bowl.

  2. Wash and core the apple, cut it into small pieces and place them in a saucepan together with the plum meat, sugar and water.

  3. Put the pan on medium heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. After a while, remove from the heat, let it warm up and pour the plum and apple jam into a glass jar, bowl or similar.

Recipe notes

In this case we have not added lemon juice (preservative) to the jam. As this is a small amount, its consumption will be in a little over a week. If you see that it will last much longer in the refrigerator, I advise you to add a few tablespoons of lemon juice to the jam when it is ready.
