Cream and walnut nougat
Today in Family Kitchen with Javier Romero I will teach you how to make cream and walnut nougat. Christmas jam, which we usually buy in convenience stores, but this year you can cheer it up and make it at home. In addition to the surprise of all guests accustomed to eating purchased nougat, I can assure you that it is so delicious that every year you will be asked to do so. This is the perfect end to a great Christmas party like Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. I’m sure you already know what to put every year, but for the end of this and the following years I invite you to bring some novelties and add this delicious homemade cream and walnut nougat to your menu.
I will leave you here other traditional Christmas desserts, but home-made so that you can make them instead of buying them. To see the recipes, you can do so by clicking on the title in blue.
– Chocolate nougat and puffed rice
– Soto marzipan
– Yolk nougat
Ingredients for 4 people
We start to prepare this cream and walnut nougat by grinding the almonds in the chopping accessory that comes with the blender and cutting the walnuts into small pieces with a knife.
Then put the pan on the fire and add the powdered sugar (powdered sugar) and liquid cream (milk cream) inside. While they are cooking, we will stir so that the sugar is diluted perfectly in the cream until we get a homogeneous cream.
At this stage we will add the nuts. Stir so that they are well mixed and remove the preparation to our nougat molds. If you can’t find them in any store, you can cut a brick of milk in half and put the nougat there.
We wait for it to cool before putting it in the refrigerator, where it will harden in a few days. In two days we disassemble it and we can enjoy this rich cream and walnut nougat.
And that’s it, friends, we finished our homemade cream and walnut nougat. I hope you prepare it very soon at home and upload the final photo on Instagram, mentioning my account 55000 Recipes. Nothing more for today, more tomorrow and better here at Family Kitchen.
I will see you on another recipe.
