Christmas tree with cookies

Instructions

  1. To begin, preheat the oven to 160 ° C through CircoTherm® mode and cover two baking trays with greaseproof paper.

  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until you get a creamy and pale mixture.

  3. Then add the egg, peel and orange and cinnamon extract and beat for a few seconds.

  4. Add the flour and mix well with a spoon or your hands.

  5. Then collect the dough and wrap it well. Let it rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.

  6. Meanwhile, on a piece of paper we draw a star of about 20 cm and then draw another 15, making them smaller and smaller.

  7. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into circles.

  8. Using paper asterisks, cut the cookies into this shape and place them on the cookie sheet.

  9. The largest will need about 15 minutes to bake, and the smallest between 6 and 8 minutes.

  10. When the cookies start to change color, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely.

  11. Then heat the cream in a pan and bring to a boil. Put the chocolate in a bowl and pour the hot cream on top.

  12. Stir for a few seconds until the chocolate is melted. Allow it to cool slightly and place it in a tube bag.

  13. Pour a little chocolate on the tops of each star and sprinkle with hazelnuts, which will stick to the chocolate.

  14. You can now assemble the cookie tree.

  15. Start with the largest, pour a little ganache in the center. Repeat with the remaining cookies in order of size, from largest to smallest.

  16. When the tree is finished, let it rest before bringing it to the table.
