Caesar salad with shrimp Quick and easy recipe
Today in the Family Kitchen with Javier Romero I present you a delicious recipe for Caesar shrimp salad. Version of the famous salad with a recipe for Caesar sauce included. I say version because the original has chicken and some other things that this one doesn’t, but instead has shrimp and raisins. The cheese I used is not Parmesan, but dried sheep cheese, which works very well for him.
Salads are dishes that allow us to make combinations of ingredients a priori unthinkable in other types of preparations. For many years, and when I say a lot, there are many, I have made salads with different ingredients and I have always loved to put fruit on them. Orange, strawberry, avocado, pineapple, apple … really, if you haven’t tried fruit salads yet, don’t wait any longer to do so.
And as examples of what I tell you, I will leave you three recipes that you can prepare at home to try different salads and choose the type you like best. To see them, you just have to click on the title in blue.
– Waldorf salad
– Warm salad of eels and shrimp
– Country salad
Ingredients for 4 people
1 – We prepare Caesar sauce
We start with the preparation of Caesar sauce and for this I will leave you the recipe that I have already published in Family Kitchen, which you can see CLICK HERE. Anyway, if you prefer not to leave this page, in the video you will find the full recipe for the sauce.
2 – Fry the bread crusts
Now we will cut the slices of bread without crust into cubes and fry them in a pan with soil oil.
3 – Mix the ingredients in a large bowl
Once we get the toasted bread, it’s about mixing the ingredients and assembling the salad. We will put the previously cleaned and drained lettuce in a bowl. Then we will add the raisins, croutons, grated aged cheese and Caesar sauce. We will mix everything well so that the sauce is distributed.
4 – Assemble the salad
Now we will assemble a plate with boiled shrimp, salad and a little anchovies in butter on top, whole or in pieces, as you prefer.
5 – We serve and enjoy
And that’s it, friends, we finished our Caesar salad with shrimp. A recipe that I hope you will prepare very soon in your respective homes and tell me what you think on social media. Nothing more for today, more tomorrow and better here at Family Kitchen.
I will see you on another recipe.
