Instructions

  1. We start the recipe by making maple and blackberry syrup. To do this, place the blackberries with lemon juice in a small saucepan.

  2. Mash the blackberries with a potato press and place the lid on the pot. Heat over medium heat in registration number and bring to a boil, simmering for 5-6 minutes until the blackberries release liquid.

  3. Then remove from the heat and separate the liquid in a bowl using a strainer. Mix with maple syrup and save.

  4. To prepare the compote, put the figs, blackberries, raspberries and sugar in a pan. Bring to a boil and when it boils, put a lid on and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. When they put a slightly thick liquid, like syrup, we turn off the stove.

  6. Then we prepare the French toast. To do this, we put one of the slices in a plate and pour 1.5 tablespoons of fresh cream and then a tablespoon of compote.

  7. Place a second slice on top and pour another 1.5 tablespoons of strawberry cream and other compote.

  8. Then place the third slice on top, pour a little compote and garnish with blackberries, raspberries and fresh figs. We repeat the whole process for the second French toast.

  9. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar and distribute the maple syrup and blackberries before serving.
