Carlos Arginiano prepares a spectacular recipe for beef stew step by step in the TV program 55000 Recipes!
Ingredients (4 people):
- 700 g beef stew (needle)
- 24 small potatoes
- 3 onions
- 12 shallots
- 200 ml of red wine
- ½ l beef broth
- 25 g dark chocolate
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon thyme powder
Preparation of the recipe for beef stew:
Cut it meat in chunks, salt and pepper and put them brown in the fast stove by spraying oil. When it gets a little darker, peel and dice the onion. Add them to the pan and cook everything together for 15 minutes.
Add bay leaf, thyme, ounces of chocolate, broth and wine. Bring to a boil, cover the pan and cook the meat for 20 minutes as soon as the valve rises.
Peel the shallots. Heat a frying pan with a little oil. Add the shallots and potatoes (clean and with skin) and prepare them on low-medium heat for 20 minutes approximately. Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley and season.
Serves meat with its sauce and accompany it with potatoes and shallots. Garnish with a sprig of parsley.
In today’s case we have not mixed the sauce, but if you like a thicker one, you can pass it through the food mill or combine it by adding a little refined corn flour diluted in cold water.
