How to make beef meatballs

A recipe that may surprise you as soon as you see the photo. You read the title, you see the picture and the question is: where are the mushrooms? Well, the answer is very simple: they mix with the meat itself. To see how I did this, you will need to watch the video or written explanation, but first I want to tell you a few more things about this dish.

Stews with meatballs are one of the most pleasant things in the kitchen. It is true that they are a little time consuming to prepare, especially at this time when you need to shape the meatballs and fry them. It is also true that this time depends on the amount of meatballs you make. The ingredients we will use are cheap and affordable for most people, so this is an ideal dish for everyday use. It also serves very well as a recipe for tupperware, for all those people who work part-time in offices and do not want or can eat in restaurants. A tuper with 5-6 of these meatballs can be the perfect dish with a piece of fruit for dessert.

1 – Fry the garlic and mushrooms

We start by placing olive oil in the bottom of the pan. Chop 3 of the garlic cloves listed in the ingredients and fry them in the pan after the oil heats up. While they darken, we will clean, cut the stem and cut the mushrooms into small pieces. When the garlic turns golden, we will add them to the pan, along with a little salt, and cook them.

2 – Mix the sauce

Once we are done with the mushrooms, pour them into a measuring cup and crush them with a blender.

3 – Prepare the meat mixture with the sauce

Then place the beef, eggs, salt, pepper, chopped fresh parsley and crushed mushrooms in a bowl. Stir everything until you get a homogeneous mixture, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

4 – Stew onions for sauce

At this time we can make the onion sauce. For this purpose we will cut the remaining garlic and the 2 onions into slices. Then we will put everything to fry in a pan with olive oil covering the bottom and salt.

5 – Add the flour and integrate it

When the onion is toasted (not burnt), we will put a tablespoon of flour, which we will mix with the butter to get an emulsion. Then add the meat cube and in which it is integrated, pour a glass of water.

6 – Crush the radiant sauce

After mixing it with the other components, we will pour the entire contents of the casserole into a measuring cup and crush it until a fine sauce remains. Then return it to the casserole and save.

7 – Shape and fry the meatballs

Now we need to shape the meatballs and pass them through flour. Then we will fry them in a pan with enough oil so that it covers a little more than half. The fire should be of medium intensity so that they turn red on the outside, but not so fast as to remain too raw on the inside.

8 – Stew the beef meatballs after frying

While they are made, we will take them out directly into the pot. Now we only need to cook the meatballs in the sauce for 25-30 minutes. If you see that too much water evaporates, you can put a little more, but I recommend not to put the fire high so as not to get a surprise in this regard.
