Automated chicken traditional recipe
How to make tomato chicken. Today you will learn how to prepare a traditional chicken stew with vegetables, also known as chicken entomatado. It is logical to think that this is a dish of modest and provincial origin due to the type of ingredients it contains. All of them, with the exception of chicken, can be found in the field, and chicken is one of the cheapest meats, so everything fits this theory. In addition to all this, this dish has other virtues, which I will tell you about below.
The first one I already said. Both chicken and vegetables are products available to most people. The good thing is that we can vary the type of vegetables depending on the area in which we live, and use seasonal products that will always provide us with a higher quality stew. Everyone knows their region and local vegetables well.
Ingredients for 4 people
We start by placing a flat casserole on the fire with olive oil covering the bottom. Then we put the thighs, pre-forged, inside and seal them.
While the chicken is cooking, we will cut the onion and garlic into small pieces to our liking and add everything to the casserole so that it is stewed, along with a little salt.
Then we will cut the green pepper and do the same as in the previous step.
Now peel the tomatoes and crush them in a measuring cup. When we finish the other vegetables, we will pour the whole crushed tomato into the casserole. Leave cooking for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
At this point, we will add the white wine and let it cook for 45 minutes or the time it takes for the chicken to be fully cooked.
During cooking, we must make sure that the stew is left without liquid. If so, we need to add water, but do not add salt at this time. The salt spot is checked last as the liquid decreases but the salt remains.
Once the chicken is ready, we will cover the casserole, remove it from the heat and let the stew rest for 10-15 minutes before eating it.
And that’s it, friends, we finished our tomato chicken. A traditional stew that I hope to prepare very soon at home and upload the final photo on Instagram, mentioning my account 55000 Recipes.
