I could wax on and on about my like for pie. The flake of the crust, the sweet filling, that sparkle of sugar on the crust — but I’ll spare you.
Peach pie is suitable up there on my record of most loved factors to make and take in. A person of my incredibly 1st memories is of using my grandfather’s shoulders, selecting peaches suitable off the trees in a California orchard, getting that 1st bite, and letting the juices stream down my arm.
This is the memory of summertime for me, and peach pie is a recipe I think each baker must have in their recipe box.
